In April, Dr Rick Wolfe was proud to have been chosen to be the first surgeon in Australia and New Zealand to use the new Alcon Clareon® intra-ocular lens (IOL) with the AutonoMe™ Delivery System.
Important change to BUPA’s Ultimate Health Cover relating to Laser Eye Surgery – from 1st July 2018 waiting period will increase to 3 years.
From 1st July 2018, BUPA Private Health Insurance is increasing the waiting period for Laser Eye Surgery from 1 year to 3 years under its Ultimate Health Cover. BUPA’s Ultimate Health Cover includes 100% cover for of the cost of Laser Eye Surgery. The current 1 year waiting period will apply to all new members until 30th June 2018.

As a Fellow of RANZCO, I’ve dedicated my career to advancing eye surgery techniques in Australia and internationally.
I regularly share my knowledge at global conferences and founded the World College of Refractive Surgery and Visual Sciences to support excellence in our field.
My goal is simple: to provide safe, precise, and personalised care that helps people enjoy clearer vision.
